Zack Space files paperwork to seek election as state auditor

Former Congressman Zachary T. “Zack” Space, of Dover, has filed paperwork to seek election in 2018 as Ohio’s State Auditor.

Space, 56, works for the law firm Vorys, Sater, Seymour & Pease. A lawyer and consultant, he has been with the prestigious Columbus firm for about six years.

Filing the paperwork is not a formal announcement, and often is used by candidates in an exploratory nature prior to formally announcing, according to political observers. No other Democrats have filed the paperwork for the state auditor’s race.
