ZANESVILLE, Ohio - A Democratic candidate for Ohio Auditor spoke outside of Zanesville High School.
Former U.S. Representative, Zack Space spoke about former Ohio House Speaker Cliff Rosenberger and the Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow also called ECOT. Space said ECOT is a prime example of money corrupting Ohio politics.
“The auditor is a critical role in the integrity of government and (if elected) I intend to make sure everybody, regardless of where you’re from, what your zip code is, how big your bank account balance is, how much money you’ve given to politicians, everybody should be represented by their government in Columbus. And I’m going to do everything I can to make sure that happens,” said Space.
Another person, who spoke outside of the high school, was Amber Daniels who’s a candidate for the 78th Ohio House District. She said she’s running as a way to give her children hope.
“I noticed that they were becoming cynical and they’re very young. They’re age five, seven, and 17. And so I wanted to show them if things don’t go your way, you pick yourself up and you keep going with your values,” said Daniels.
The primary election will be held on May 8th, and the general election will be held on November 6.
